1. Can Better HR handle multiple shift types in a single payroll run?

Yes. You can configure any number of shift types — day, night, rotating, split shifts — each with their own rates, OT rules, and rounding logic. Payroll calculates across all of them simultaneously.

2. How does time data get into the system?

Two ways: via the Better HR mobile app (using GPS, WiFi, or Bluetooth verification), or via our natively integrated HF Security X-05 biometric device for high-accuracy on-site tracking. Both feed directly into the payroll engine.

3. What rounding options are available?

You can configure 5, 10, 15, or 30-minute rounding intervals. Rounding can be applied per shift rule, and you can choose round-up, round-down, or nearest-interval logic per rule.

4. Can we set different pay rates for different conditions?

Absolutely. Pay rates can be conditioned on shift type, day type (weekday, weekend, public holiday), employee role, grade, or location. All conditions stack cleanly in a single payroll calculation.

5. How long does setup take for a factory with 200+ workers?

Most manufacturing clients are live within 2–4 weeks. The majority of that time is configuring your payroll rules. Once set, the system runs automatically every pay cycle.
